AI & Generative AI Author Policy

Official scholarly standard of the International Journal of Computational Science and Digital Innovation (IJCSDI).

Use of Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models

IJCSDI recognizes the emergence of generative AI writing and coding tools. Authors must adhere to the following principles:

  1. Non-Authorship: Large Language Models (e.g. GPT-4, Claude, Gemini) cannot be credited as an author or co-author. Authorship entails legal and academic accountability that machines cannot hold.
  2. Mandatory Disclosure: The use of AI tools for text polishing, idea synthesis, code generation, or data visualization must be explicitly disclosed in the submission declarations section.
  3. Human Responsibility: Authors bear 100% responsibility for the accuracy of all content, including any hallucinations or incorrect citations produced by AI tools.
