Open Dedicated ViewPeer Review Workflow & Blinding Model
IJCSDI operates a rigorous double-blind peer review model by default to ensure unbiased evaluation:
- Initial Desk Screening: Manuscripts are examined by the Managing Editor for scope, ethical declarations, formatting, and similarity score.
- Reviewer Assignment: Manuscripts that pass screening are assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers.
- Double-Blind Protection: Author identities, affiliations, and acknowledgments are redacted from reviewers. Reviewer identities are strictly concealed from authors.
- Evaluation Metrics: Reviewers score papers across 8 criteria: Originality, Methodology, Technical Quality, Literature Review, Results, Discussion, Presentation, and References.
- Editorial Decision: The Editor-in-Chief or assigned Associate Editor renders a final decision based on reviewer evaluations.
